…pretty sure I told myself to stop making 10 year remakes for the year :| oh well! I’d wanted to do this run instead of the one I did earlier but could never find the file…instead I found the original frames ^^’ so that works too.
I also made a process recording of this which you can see here! :D

Anonymous: Artist alley questions 1.What products do you sell and what do you sell the most of 2.At your fist artist alley what items did you sell and did you make your table money back / make a profit 3.What size float would you recommend bringing 4.What's your favourite and least favourite thing about the artist alley 5.How many do you recommend to bring of each print/other items 6.How long have you been doing artist alleys 7.What advice do you have to someone going to their first artist alley
Goodness that’s a lot! Hopefully this will be helpful ^^’
1. Charms, mini cards and A4/5 prints. Probably
sell the most cards, I have the most designs available. After that it’s charms I think.
2. The same, except badges instead of charms. I
think I made it back, didn’t start making notes of money stuff until this year.
3. I’m not sure what that is :\ money? Anything
between $50-100, choose your change based on your prices. Most of my stuff is
under $10 so I mainly keep $1-2 coins rather than large notes.
4. I love getting to chat with so many people!
…and mildly scream about stuff. I suppose least favourite would be venue,
most cons here use the same space. They never put the artists in a good spot
for food or bathrooms, means you’re bound to your table a lot more (there is one that does food delivery though which is nice!).
5. For most things 10 will be fine. If something happens to
sell out in the first day I’ll bring in another 10-15. Wouldn’t advise getting more than 30 done all up unless you’re sure you can sell it (across several cons). After a con or two you
should be able to make an educated guess at how much you’ll need.
6.I started early last year, so 2 years now!
7.Don’t stress! Every con is different and the people can change con to con and year to year. You’ll figure stuff out as you go. Have to be patient I guess and not take it personally when people don’t like a thing, sometimes it’s not that no one likes it, just that the people who like it didn’t attend this time or passed by.
