There…fixed Astrid’s awful ref >:| now it is mildly better. Also I changed bits of her design again…now the whole side of her face is circuits and the clockwork is on her back . _______ . Just gotta finish Pyxis and Vigil’s refs now, when it’s less hot…

oh yeah…it was my birthday yesterday…fun times
…also I’m really tired and can’t be bothered animating (even though I felt like making this)…oh, and happy new year…again…

11. Poured silicone
12. Did I mention that I forgot to make the piece flat? ...a lot of the silicone went under it...
13. After cutting the piece out (luckily the individual bits weren't actually fully stuck together, so it came out fairly easy)
14. First test cast. There was a tiny bit of water in the mould, so there were giant air bubbles in it...the little bubbles are just a property of the resin
15. Testing acrylics and primers, no.3 was the best
16. Second casting, but with black pigment and metallic silver powder

18. Laying down the primer
19. Painting the bone areas
20. Finished piece after also painting light and dark areas on the metal parts

Materials/Tools: Pinkysil Silicone, Polyurethane Resin, Cream tinted Primer, Black opaque pigment, Antique Silver Pearl Pigment, Acrylic paints.
Oh and out of curiosity, would anyone be interested in a little raffle or mini-contest to win one of them? I’ve got 3 made and I don’t know what to do with them XD
…don’t mind me just testin somethin out…
