You ever butter your white bread to make it certainly not a food?
ooof that makes my stomach hurt just thinking about that…not unless it’s for a sandwich with VERY DRY ingredients

Yes but what about the pinicle of sausage in a wheat based food: sausage rolls? I mean proper sausage rolls, as in a sausage encased in flakey pastry. (A sausage wrapped in bacon is NOT a sausage roll, that is a Pig in a Blanket)
I- I would not consider a sausage roll like a sausage in bread, one is something you get at the bakery with your pie, and the other is strictly for barbecues, hardware stores, and voting in elections.
ffffjfkfjfkjf think we’re getting regional variations, I thought pigs in a blanket were just mini hot dogs wrapped in dough…but that is just me trying to guess purely from american media…
here sausage rolls are sausage mince with a little bit of veggies in puff pastry

sausage on bread in the north america is called hot dog
nah those are two different things here-
this is a hot dog

THIS is a sausage in bread from a sausage sizzle

the key to a sausage sizzle is that all the components are cheap as shit.
cheap sausage, cheap bread, unbranded sauce, on a napkin that is somehow both thin and feels like cardboard.

Ok but the real question... best sausage sizzle: in a bun or a piece of bread
in…A BUN?? WHAT DO YOU MEAN A BUN????
I’ve never in my life seen buns at a sausage sizzle in victoria…where has buns? like I’m sure it’s nice but I’ve only ever gotten the whitest of white bread, the kind that barely qualifies as food.
