When was the last time you drew Frankie, and what motivated you to redesign her?
damn i don’t think i’ve drawn her in a while…she’s still an important character in pyxis’s story though, so she’ll pop up when i start working on that again.
as for design, she started as a ratchet & clank fan character-
but i kind of wanted to try designing less obviously humanoid robots when i started writing her. i also wanted her to match vigil, i liked the idea of both of them being the same type of warbot, but over time developing their own personalities, form of expression, and seeing how they changed in different environments. i think its fun having a several hundred year old robot decide to be a cartoonish pirate XD
forgot i had a whole short comic with brynja planned, sketched, and ready to go from 2 years ago OTL kind of want to properly finish it…was only like 4 pages
