The PS4 R & C wasnāt my entry into the series, but seeing the trailers for it had me interested and so I bought aCiT and loved it, it took over a year to actually beat because I was a) awful at video games and b) struggle to finish games, I then played the PS4 game and liked it, but never finished it, due to - as I said before - the fact I really struggle to finish games, and have unfortunately lost the disk, so I was never able to finish - I did later go on and play the rest of the Future Saga
whoa thatās interesting :O havenāt heard of seeing one game and buying a different one from the series, but I suppose thatās a thing (actually thatās probably more sensible, Iām used to jumping into the middle of a series OTL)
cool to hear that the trailer and CiT got you into the series though!

OH! I have another Ratchet & Clank question if anyone feels like helpin me out!
If the PS4 reboot was your first game, what did you like and dislike the most? or I guess your general feel :O
Iām trying to write more analysis notes, but itās hard for me to treat it as its own game and not as a reboot :\ most of my opinions end up highlighting differences, but I want to know how it holds up for someone new.
Clank being severely under utilized, and frankly, a really boring, one note character.
Devoid of personality. When your game is called Ratchet AND Clank you need to show me what makes their duo a strong and dynamic one. The PS4 game/movie failed at this. Ratchet hogged too much of the spotlight, which left Clank in the dust. I canāt remember any memorable moment for him, which is something I can do with Ratchetā¦ and Qwark.
Which is quite a shame because Clank became one of my favourite characters in the series when I played the other titles.
OH that was one of my main critiques, I was worried it was
from nostalgia though cause I do love original Clank ^^ā so thatās kind of nice to hear. Yeah he sometimes is kinda uhhā¦backpackā¦unfortunately. Glad that overall you liked it though :D

After whatā¦3 years?? Iāve finally put up my comic Magical Printing: Magenta Ink! ā¤ļøšš along with the uh, partially finished second book :D
Iām hoping to pick it up again from the start, but until then here it is!

PS4 R&C was my intro to the franchise and I loved it. Every time I thought I was having the most fun possible in a video game, it would do something like give me a jetpack and the fun would quadruple. I thought Clank was so cute, the comedy was great, and the environments were beautiful. It got me to play the entire rest of the series and even buy a PS3 to do so, so it definitely did something right for me. I know it has problems now but I have a real soft spot for it. :)

thatās kind of the vibe that I got, that even if it was a bit different from the other games, new players overall liked it. Like Iāve got my issues with it, but I love that itās something that got other people excited!!
