Anonymous: How long does it usually take you do work on a SU art I mean like how long do you take to work and think of the drawing concept for the characters
(assuming you mean the glittery gifs) it varies a lot, some can take as little as 2 hours from sketch to finish, including colouring and animating. Or they can take quite a bit longer, worked on one earlier and it took almost an hour just to sketch out the animation.
I don’t always time it out, but I find that each ‘stage’ takes roughly the same amount of time :O …ish. It can be tricky to time something like concepts as I think about that sort of stuff all through the day, not just when I sit down to sketch.
Anonymous: What markers crayons pen things do you use to color on your sketch cards
Copics! if it has pencil in it then it’s with Prismacolors. I use a bunch of different Fine Liners including, CopicMultiliners/Faber-Castell Liners/Staedtler Triplus. And white bits are either a Uniball Signo pen or a Prismacolour pencil :)

Yes, yes and yes! I won’t be posting the picture until after the episode airs, and I’m not sure when I’ll be adding it to the store :O the next convention I’ll be at is in October, so I’m sorting out my printing schedule at the moment.

If this is serious though (seen a bunch of confused people anyhow), then I will have to tell you that it’s a fake fact! though the screaming you can hear her say Sardonyx, Citrine was a rumor started like the ‘Where’s Wally’ search for Sardonyx!

That’s all right! I don’t mind :) heh, I was a little confused when I got this cause I hadn’t seen the SDCC stuff yet XD but yes! I’ve drawn Sardonyx and will probably work on the picture for her, but I won’t be uploading it until after the episode!…so it’ll be a few days ^^’

Hey! to the brown paper anon from earlier and anyone else who is interested, I found what paper it is!
It’s a 90gsm brown paper journal from Washi! I’m not sure where you can get then outside of Australia though :O Dean’s Art stocks them, the company also has a main site but for some reason you have to make an account before it lets you see the stock :\
I think I got it from Dean’s Art…it doesn’t have any text or labels on it so I have no idea ^^’ I cut out the pages with a scalpel and divide them into 4 small cards, the book has rounded corners too so half of the cards have a little round corner.
Seems like artisan oaktag. That’s what I use for a lot of mine because it’s extremely thick and works well for light sketches.
yeah I’m not sure, the paper is only slightly thicker than average paper :O I have a 120gsm white paper sketchbook and they feel a similar weight. I’m not all that familiar with Oaktag paper though ^^’ and the place it’s from doesn’t list it on the site…next time I go there I’ll try and find out :\
