AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE IT!! ; O ; uuuuu thank you!
this is such a lovely thing to wake up to >w< hehehe. Those colours are so pretty, and her face is so cute and everything just has a nice shape and is really nice in general ; ^ ; uuuuu sorry, I can’t describe stuff in the morning OTL THANK YOU AGAIN!!
and it’s very appropriate seeing it’s autumn here~ hehe :3
I’m using that apocalypse magical girl for stuff at Uni now, here are some shots I’ve been making for an animatic without any context and covered in filters and sparkles~
…I’m up to 57 slides and I’m only just over half way through the storyboards…I can’t tell whether my story is too long or if I’m just being too detailed with the animatic OTL probably both.
Gemsona week Alt.Outfit and Historical~ well it’s late Thursday for me XD
For Axinite’s alt it’s just her winter clothes…so she just puts a cape on. And Edwardian-ish style for historical :D cause I’ll take any excuse to make Victorian and Edwardian clothes~
A bunch of floating island garden things connected with floating stairs :| I imagine there’d be benches and whatnot on the other ones but I ain’t drawin all of those >:\
strawberry-fawnn: Hi! I love your artwork alot ♥♥ I wanted to ask maybe in your spare time you can make an anatomy sheet for your style? I kind o need some drawing help... thanks! *smoochies*
Thanks, I’m glad you like my work! ; O ; if you’re having trouble with drawing the best thing I can suggest is to study the things you like, try drawing from real life and simply JUST DRAW :) everyone has their own way of approaching how they draw and you just need to find what suits you.
Some people like to meticulously plan out with shapes while others can go straight into an outline. I personally do a bit of both, over the years I’ve found my own way of plotting forms either with or without shapes or form blocking.
This is generally how my characters start off.
When I draw heads I tend to draw out a circle, plot face guides, then just draw in the rest of what I want. In my head I make note of how things flow alongside the nose and the shape of the chin and cheek.
For bodies I use shapely bean like things, occasionally I’ll shove some circles or square things in to help.
Arms and legs I plot out with more blobs, which I then shape either from memory or looking at my own arms or legs.
I almost always look at my own hand when drawing hands rather then go in to a bunch of shapes. It’s just sight drawing and for the most part it helps me know if the pose is actually possible :|
So yup, that’s how I draw. But I’m showing this purely as an example, by no means should anyone follow this as a guide in any way. I really would like to stress how important it is to figure this out for yourself even if in the end you have the same result. Also I’m not fantastic at anatomy, so it’s also important that if accuracy is a concern for you that you possibly look at photo references or even create your own when what you want is unavailable.
I hope this kind of helps ^^’ it’s a tad longer than I had wanted…
