maybe!! I do wanna make either charms or little acrylic pins with them, I’m just stuck on what type of acrylic to use XD like just clear or something like fluoro, holographic, rainbow, glitter…lots of cool acrylic

AH I forgot to show off the foil cards!! so cool seeing how they look in person :D next round of preorders are up now if y’all want some shiny things~ 🌈
preorders close in a few days on the 31st! thanks everyone who’s ordered ; O ; really excited to send these off~ I’ll probably do another round next year but it won’t be until I’ve added a few more designs :O
so it might not be for a while.
also got some stickers coming in for everyone and all orders for full sets are gonna get the new Jasper card too! :D

Thank you! I’ll have to do a recording next time I do something similar! bit tricky to describe.
Almost everything is done with a default round brush (SAI). I did loose colour planning in PS before starting, I usually do this with more painty things but especially here since I needed to know I’d be working with print safe CMYK colours.
I find when I do linework I tend to over-correct the sketch, it removes some of that nice loose feel you get with sketches. So once I’m done shading I go back over the top of the lines and shading really loose to add shape, detail, and get some of that roughness back.
I work on a large canvas, that way I can be messy and it’ll look neat when you zoom out while still feeling rough. It’s almost closer to scribbling in some areas. I get hand/arm cramps a lot, being able to be that janky relieves some of that pressure. Here’s a bit at full size!
there are 3 stages of shading I guess? colour plan, block shading and sketch shading…if that makes sense. Have to do a proper tutorial some time!
