I’ve been feeling really anxious every time I look at my inbox for the last week after having seen people commenting and sending asks about/to me criticizing me for that drawing, it’s relieving to see someone ask in such a polite and direct manner.

In all honesty, I don’t know. Really. Looking back at my files I had sketched her in proper proportions, but then lined it wrong. I never intentionally made her thin with any malice or desire to erase the important representation she gives.

I’m probably the person most upset by the drawing actually. I noticed the error when I finished, but I was so happy with the animation I didn’t fix it immediately like I normally would.

Thank you very much for asking like this! I recently finished a fixed version that I’m much happier with which I’ll be posting either tomorrow or the day after! :)

As a side note to the people aggressively berating others about this, I’m pretty sure virtually no one has purposely set out to draw Rose thin because they hate overweight people and so on. It’s hard for people, myself included to get out of certain drawing patterns. Telling people about how awful they are and how much you hate them doesn’t help anyone.

…well depending on the circumstance… I drew Rose before having a good ref and it didn’t turn out right…or at least I think that  XD
