light-eradia: you said you did a glow tutorial specifically for photoshop? Can you redirect me to it? :3 thanks
Yup :3 I gave a link to it in the text under the tutorial, but here it is again if you missed it:

it isn’t specifically for Ps, it’s just that the first method can only be done in Ps ^^’

comicsanshater: Um hey, I as wondering what programs and tablet(if any) you use to draw? and should I buy a cheap drawing tablet first, because I don't know if I'll like it better than painting with paint?
I use a 13HD Cintiq, PaintToolSAI and Ps CS3, before that (cause I only recently got it) I used a small Intuos4, and before 2011 I used a mouse and Ps 6.0 :3
I would definitely advise buying something cheap before getting anything better, especially if you are inexperienced with digital drawing. I drew with a mouse for 5 years before I even got a tablet ^^’ as I progressed and my needs changed I also changed tools to suit that.

Anonymous: can I just address the fact you actually draw humans nicely imo I like how you switch between different body types. JSKFKEJFJEKFJD iloveu
UUUUUUUUUUU ; O ; Thank you! That means a lot.
I noticed about a year ago that a lot of my characters looked pretty much the same, so I’ve been making an effort to make my characters more interesting and vary body types ^^’

tinyjoltikold-blog: I have a question about your glowing tutorial! What do you mean by 'set to add'? I'm using photoshop CS6, and I can't figure out what it is you mean. I'm sorry if I'm missing something obvious. orz
Don’t worry, it is a little bit hidden and would be confusing if you don’t know about layer styles. In PS in your Layers tab there is a little box that says Normal, this controls how your current layer acts with the other layers. One of the layer types is Addition/Add/Linear Dodge(Add), the name varies between programs and even Adobe products. Here is what you are looking for:
I hope that helps :D
making a base for my 3D character thingy :O what’s awful is that this took less time to make than the original base I made and it looks way better…
though that’s probabaly cause I put more thought into the design (even though it’s really basic) and gave it a nicer glow >_> plus this one has plants….and I know how to make it quicker now :|
